During the first week of school, your kindergarten student will only attend ONE of the three days of school. This is called a “staggered start” and allows our staff to meet your child in a smaller setting, observe their interactions with other students, complete informal testing and begin to build a relationship. Students are not assigned a specific classroom on their staggered start day. Students will interact with all kindergarten staff. On Friday, August 23, 2024, you will receive an email identifying your child’s class assignment for the 2024-25 school year. It is our goal to create classes that are equitable while providing the proper support to meet the needs of both staff and students.
